Robert Frost
I lack dedication, imagination, motivation and a lot of those other 'tions'(organization and inspiration?) But I tend to be overwhelmed by ridiculous obsessions for people and inanimate objects that don't exist - that is, outside of my television or computer. Now, I'm not alone in the video game/ anime fandom, and there're probably hundreds of other domains in the world wide web that have a video game/ anime- centric theme. This domain, my domain- sakujo.net is no different, except this is the only sakujo.net out there because I registered it and some company reserves this name so no one else can have it. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what happens, because this domain concept is still relatively new to me. I, or rather, my dad who's also webdesigns, purchased this domain for me as a belated Christmas present. End of that story. Really, there was no dramatic scene in the rain or high speed car chase. Some money was spent, numbers given and a couple days later, woosh! Sakujo.net came into existance (but it took a week or so to get everything in order.) Before sakujo.net was finally decided on as a name, I went through several phases of fandom which can be roughly divided into: budding, blossoming, seeding and wilting. Many times. I somehow even managed to rekindle old fandoms during the process (Yu-Gi-Oh never has ceased to astound me. It always leaves with questions like 'how on Earth does that even work?) Some ideas such as 'crescentine.whatever' (eh, I prefer not to remember this one- it seems quite horrendous now) lasted quite a while. Others, I can't even recall. Near the end, I managed to narrow the many possibilities down to shizukesa, tsuki-akari and mata-ashita. So, you ask where did 'sakujo' come from? I was watching a couple episodes of Ouran (it being a saturday and well... my saturdays aren't particulary eventful) and chanced upon the fact that Tamaki and Kyouya's seiyuus also voiced Light and Mikami respectively from Death Note. That long-haired psycho (I'm referring to Mikami if you couldn't tell) kept on saying 'sakujo' when he was killing off, or eliminating people and... I liked it. Death Note is one anime I actually find very meaningful, whereas Bleach... well, now we know where the dead go. Since the start of my phase in webdesigning, it seemed like the having your own domain was the ultimate... thing- the very top. Now, 4 years later, I believe I've wizened up a bit and know that webmasters and webmistresses can have amazing websites even without a permanent home of their own. Nevertheless, I am proud of sakujo.net, because it is the result of all my years of sticking with webdesign when I could've been outside enjoying the sunshine.
