Code Geass: an extremely popular anime by Sunrise that first aired in 2006. The 26 episode season concluded in July, 2007 and the second season began in April of the following year.
It follows the story of Lelouch Lamperouge, a forsaken Britannian prince who was sent to live in Japan (referred to as 'Area 11') with his sister, Nunnally, after their mother was murdered by terrorists.
With bitterness in his heart, Lelouch dreams of taking revenge upon his father, and the nation that abandoned him.
