They can be roughly divided into four categories- anime, video games, fiction and everyday happenings. For a less detailed, yet more comprehensive listing of my fandoms, visit my Livejournal profile, whose link I've spammed all over this site, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

video games

I've not one of those 'hardcore' gamers, but I do spend a fair hour or two playing Final Fantasy everyday (there's some Ratchet and Clank too, occasionally), when I could be doing something more productive; though I dispute the statement because- wouldn't you consider saving the world something 'productive'?

While Ratchet and Clank kept me entertained at the very beginning, Final Fantasy has taken over dramatically since. I dislike the plainess of everyday life (mine, at least) and thus, I opted search for adventure elsewhere- Spira, Ivalice are only a few of the fascinating worlds I've discovered.

After watching Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, the corresponding game which unfortunately could not be found in my local game shop (it sounds like one of those deer hunting places, but I'm referring to a video game store), I went on to read about the other, more recent Final Fantasys such as X and XII. I spoiled their stories along the way, but that didn't stop me from wanting the play the games.

Nearly 5 years after it's initial release, I purchased Final Fantasy X and had a great time playing it. I suppose now it gave me a bit of trouble at first because the battle system was completely different from Ratchet and Clank's, because strategy, not reflexes were key in this game. Nevertheless, Final Fantasy X had a very admirable heroine, Yuna, some great support characters (Auron, Rikku...), beautiful graphics, a rather strange villan (Seymour) and a weird-looking final boss. I disliked Tidus, the breaking glass when a battle started and the victory theme that played everytime, but overall, this was a wonderful introduction to the world of Final Fantasy.

A year later, my parents bought me Final Fantasy XII.

And no words can describe the sheer beauty of this game, so I'm not going to try.

But I do feel a need to mention Larsa here, because he's a huge portion what made Final Fantasy XII so epic (plus, he's featured on my current layout; now what does that tell you?)
